Help a poor former Lit student
One of my former Literature 12 students has a midterm tomorrow. As usual, he is unprepared and pathetic. He emailed me this question:
The "General Prologue" to the Canterbury Tales is . . . satirical. Analyze the strategies that Chaucer uses to successfully satirize the church through his representation of figures associated with the church.
Can anyone help this guy out? How would you answer the question?

I think this student should consider a career in retail.
:)
Let me point out, the former English Lit student is very attractive.
Also I'm pretty sure that the essay question was given out on a Monday, thus giving said student a mere 48 hours to get thy study-eth on.
^_^ got on to late or I would have tried to help...

Yes, this is very belated, however...I hope that the former English Lit 12 student, who is a self-proclaimed attractive person, did not do horribly on his midterm.
ChrisClark, I do hope you wore your blogboots on the day of the exam! ;-)
