As you know, Shakespeare left his wife his "second best bed." Please post your reasons--plausible or not--as to why the Bard did this.
I think "Blog" is a silly name. Let's see who can come up with the best definition of the word, used as a noun, verb, adjective, whatever.

One of my former Literature 12 students has a midterm tomorrow. As usual, he is unprepared and pathetic. He emailed me this question:
The "General Prologue" to the Canterbury Tales is . . . satirical. Analyze the strategies that Chaucer uses to successfully satirize the church through his representation of figures associated with the church.
Can anyone help this guy out? How would you answer the question?
